11-6-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar Parliament either reasserts its constitutional rights immediately when they return or they might as well learn to curtsey and bow in Maliki’s presence. I think they know this. If they don’t fight for their rights and they let Maliki run roughshod over the constitution, then Iraq will become a one man show. Tuesday could be a big day.

11-6-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar The parliament meets next Tuesday. Their first order of business will not be to defend Shabibi but rather to defend its own constitutional rights. Parliament is endowed with many rights one of which is to make decisions on who or how the CBI operates. It is their right to decide who will run the CBI and it is their right to remove a govenor when he is not performing his expected duties. It looks as though they are tired of Maliki using the constitution as a proof source only when it benifits him and as a doormat when it does not. Brace yourselfs. I see a major lot of news coming out Iraq concerning their constitution starting on Tuesday.

11-5-2012 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 Studying this for as long as I have, IMO, I feel like we have to get Shabibi back into his position. I don’t think the IMF, the World Bank, etc. will accept the “goons” he is attempting to put into his position. What does the IMF, the World Bank, etc. have to do with Iraq RV’ing? They have to work with Iraq in setting the rate. They can’t tell Iraq when to RV their money or force them, but it does have to go through their rules and regulations. Dr. Shabibi was approved for that position and he has been put on the sidelines on the bench by Maliki. I want him at bat. Some think that right after our election tomorrow, that we will see the RV on the 7th, it is not going to happen, I don’t see it, but I hope I am the one that is wrong.

11-5-2012 Newshound Guru LoriC [new guru] The news continues to be outstanding. The United Nations, U.S., Tony Blair, Fox News etc., all reporting that Iraq’s economy is thriving and they are also being praised for their efforts with Kuwait and should be released from Chapter 7 very soon. Kuwait is investing their new reparations back into Iraq, what’s that tell you? This is not the first time either, they did the same thing last year. Even the country Iraq invaded knows they are a good investment, the whole world does and is putting their money where their mouth is. Iraq has been put on the fast track to recovery and despite the fight for control over their Central Bank they have stronger international support than ever before. This should be over by January at the latest IMHO.

11-5-2012 Newshound Guru Mountainman Parliament Energy announced that the HCL will be presented to the House of Representatives for a vote in the next few days which is great news for Iraq and us if they get this resolved finally. The committees in the region and Baghdad came up with recommendations and submitted to the CoM and claim that all outstanding matters have been agreed to and this allows the province to export 20 thousand barrels per day. Parliament resumes session tomorrow, let’s see if they adopt this law and the committees recommendations like they are promising to.
