10-29-2012 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Central Bank announces replacement of damaged currency early next month” the question is why replace these? It’s either out of pure necessity (and they are not raising the value for a while) or they plan to start raising the value via a float and expect them to be heavily used over the next several months during that period. I don’t think the article gives us any clues to confirm either.
10-29-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar I’m very encouraged to see that the CBI is being put on lock down until this matter is resolved. There must have been a lot of pressure from the International Community to get this accomplished. At least we hopefully will not see Malibaba raid the piggy bank yet.
10-29-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar I’m pleased to see the NA is trying quickly to move the HCL, Erbil, Article 140 and other legislation along. This I think is to appease the opposition in an attempt to distract from the CBI problem. They are “trying to change the subject”. Unless there is solid evidence linking Shabibi to corruption or theft or they can show that he prospered from crimes committed by employees of the CBI, I believe nothing Malibaba does is significant enough to change this subject. It will come to a head when parliament next meets.
10-29-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar Also the Integrity Commission (the commission assigned to investigate the CBI by Nujaifi) cleared Shabibi of any wrong doing. Jubouri was head hunting Shabibi and this will come out. Shabibi just wouldn’t play Malibaba’s [Maliki’s] game which meant he had to go. Malibaba will have a tough time getting parliament to agree to this so now there is a definite line that is drawn in the sand. I still say Malibaba will back off of this out of fear of losing it all.
10-29-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar Everything is up in the air until we see how the Shabibi thing shakes out. I for one feel comfortable at this time because Maliki has backed off. We know this because he has attempted to distance himself from the CBI responsibility by denying any culpability by him or his government. He is now saying it was parliament who did this. Very interesting since parliament was on recess before this mess even came up.
10-28-2012 Intel Guru Blaino Our only real issue with all of this is the seemingly “endless” time consumed by all this. The good news now appears to be that the whole process is very nearly complete now, so the end, for us anyway, is doubtless closer than ever in a much more realistic way than in days now gone. There can be little doubt as to the “lateness” of the long awaited and much needed “global financial reset” upon which we all wait and some depend…there is a glimmer ahead… the darkness becomes lighter… perhaps the end is drawing nigh.
10-28-2012 Intel Guru Blaino We all witnessed the cascade of early retirements, arrests, firings, removals, departures and disappearances of many of those that were connected with finance world wide during the last 14 months or so. At one time, there was so much of this that it was in newspapers and on television news reports everywhere, albeit with no real details to explain the rash of separations. Some were passed off as health related, while others were said to be leaving for other opportunities and still others were arrested or simply vanished.

I have had, for some time now, some regular intel that points strongly to the possibility that there has been a TON of intel that was generated, manufactured, created and hoaxed in order that some…financial interests would move in ways that might expose themselves to the long arm of regulation or other law enforcement, government and watchdog groups where they could be arrested, exposed, revealed to be less than the ethical and moral business types that they for so long appeared to be! There has also been, I am told, a concerted effort to clear out and clean up the banks & remove those who either abused the confidence of the people & worked with or for them.
10-28-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar People who should have read the Iraqi constitution but didn’t when they voted on it are finally understanding their rights. Iraq’s are reading their constitution for the first time and finding that they can band together in a united front and challenge this would be dictator. Maybe they can’t vote him out of office but for sure they can charge him and bring him to justice. I know there are 13000 marines in Iraq and I feel comfortable they would vote to bring him to justice.
10-28-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar There is a firestorm approaching and as long as he can’t silence the opposition it will get much hotter for Malibaba [Maliki] and his forty theives. Malibaba himself will defect and start pointing fingers at “his guys” in order to save face and maybe his own arse. I’m just guessing but I think the battle has turned and it won’t be long now until Shabibi will be back at the helm of the CBI and Maliki, if he survives this, will be licking his wounds. His asparations of being the next dictator of Iraq will become a thing of the past and Iraq will have finally understood what it is to be a democracy.
10-28-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar Maliki may be brought down because the news in Iraq is truely trying to get to the bottom of this Shabibi affair. In doing so they are publishing damning reports unrelated to the CBI situation which if continued will show Maliki for who and what he is. So far he is being accused of murdering a politician in Mosel and of hiring assasins to kill Heshimi who is being protected by Turkey. Maliki is being accused of slandering any politician not in step with him taking his orders. He also is accused of many constitutional violations. The most important charges are yet to come which include theft and corruption. They will soon follow as the opposition is slowly becoming not afraid of their names appearing in documents such as above. Maliki is being pushed back and is starting to try to defend himself. He can’t assassinate everyone. The machine he has set up to make these moves continues to make mistakes and will soon start to fall apart as defections are just around the corner IMHO.
10-28-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar the opposition has already admitted they don’t have the votes to remove Maliki. It was not parliament that removed Shabibi, it was Maliki’s Council of Ministers and Joubari in particular. All these guys were acting in concert with Maliki. The judicial department is under Maliki’s thumb and by order from him re-issued the arrest warrants only after the outcry that the Council of Ministers had no constitutional authority to issue warrants. Either way new arrest warrants have been issued. Without the votes parliament cannot remove Maliki and the opposition doesn’t have the votes at present. Sadr said yesterday they can’t remove Maliki but they can prepare to beat him in the next election. That might be more difficult than they might think because as you recall Maliki charged, then removed the head of this commission and replaced him with “his guy”.

I THINK IF HE IS THOUGH, THE PICTURE THEY HAVE PAINTED OF SHABIBI IN THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN IS NOT A GOOD ONE. HE WILL NEED TO BE TOTALLY HONEST THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY. NO…HINT OF REAL IRREGULARITIES CUZ WE ALL KNOW THAT MALIKI WANTS THAT 67 BILLION. HE IS TRYING TO GET SOME TYPE OF RELEASE FROM ABROAD. MALIKI, HE WANTS THE MONEY. IT IS NOT IN IRAQ IT IS ABROAD IN BANKS.

THE VALUE OF THE TWO OF THEM ARE NEGLIGIBLE AT BEST AND IN THE CURRENCY BOOK I THINK IT ISNT EVEN LISTED CUZ IT IS WORTH SO LITTLE, THE 250 THAT IS. 10-28-2012 Newshound Guru Breitling They have plenty of U.S. dollars so their economy is not going to collapse, they are not in a danger zone. But, not having your own currency doesn’t give international countries & companies too much confidence in you. There must be something on the table for them to know they will participate in the future. The numbers in the budget are pure garbage, the rate is complete garbage, the auction floor is complete garbage. So, are they at the wall yet where they are forced to revalue? No, they are not, but they will have to revalue sooner or later. Maliki doesn’t have control to say when it is going to revalue, he simply doesn’t have that power. The only one that has that power is the governor of the CBI. They don’t need to get out of Chapter 7 to revalue, the value has to do with the money supply and the dollars. So, when are they going to do it? Your guess is as good as mine!
10-28-2012 Newshound Guru 8Ball “Who is the delay ? Shabibi ? Maliki?” I think that Iraq has got what they needed and there is nothing left to do…and they wanted it done and they got a reason why it couldn’t happen…not what they wanted…I think the IMF is our safety.
