Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Strategic Planning and Federal Service, Mohammed Al-Baldawi, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the expected ministerial change during the coming period will include 6 ministers due to their inability to implement the ministerial program.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The Ministerial Evaluation Committee has completed its full evaluation of the ministries, as it submitted the final report to Al-Sudani, and the report is supposed to be read in the Council of Ministers during the upcoming meetings.”
He explained that “the ministerial amendment will include 6 ministries and they will be replaced by members of the same political blocs according to the political agreement,” adding that “this amendment has become necessary because there are ministries that suffer from procrastination in implementing their government program on the grounds that this or that minister is not able to manage this ministry.”
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani had previously revealed an expected ministerial reshuffle, while indicating that this reshuffle is a desire to achieve more effective performance to meet the requirements of the stage and the aspirations of citizens.
