Toller responds to Iraqi questions: I will continue to do my normal duties in Baghdad

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The US ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Tueller, confirmed, on Thursday, to continue his normal duties at the US embassy in the capital, Baghdad.
“Many of my Iraqi friends contacted me to inquire about press reports stating that the United States Embassy will reduce the number of staff in Baghdad,” Tueller said, in a video message broadcast by the US embassy on its Facebook page.
He added, “I was able to reassure them that I would continue to perform my normal duties at the embassy, and would do so with the support of a core team of American diplomats and American advisers to the Iraqi army.”
