On Saturday evening, Election Commission cadres began closing the ballot boxes for the provincial council elections electronically throughout Iraq.
The electronic sorting and counting procedures are scheduled to begin after the closing of the polling stations, and the electronic results are sent to the National Center, in addition to conducting the manual counting and counting operations for all polling stations in accordance with the electoral law.
The Commission had stressed earlier today that there was no extension of the voting time.
