Shafaq News/ The Acting Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and the Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, stressed on Wednesday the issue of choosing a Speaker of the House of Representatives through dialogue and understanding.
A statement from Al-Mandalawi’s office received by Shafaq News Agency stated, “The latter met with Al-Maliki to discuss the latest political developments and developments on the local scene, and to stress the necessity of accelerating the completion of constitutional entitlements, and resolving the issue of choosing a speaker for the House of Representatives through dialogue and understanding.”
The statement added, “The two parties also exchanged visions and ideas on a group of national issues and priority legislation related to the government program.”
