The Minister of Finance is rebelling against Parliament: I will resign and not go to questioning!

The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed that Finance Minister Ali Allawi threatened to resign from his position and not to go to Parliament for questioning.
The committee’s rapporteur, Ahmed Al-Saffar, said in an interview that “the information” followed, that “the information we have indicates that the Minister of Finance said that he will resign from his position and not go to the interrogation in the House of Representatives,” noting that “the questioning of the Minister of Finance has stopped at the present time.”
Al-Saffar added, “The majority of ministers do not even respond to calls for hosting in the House of Representatives,” noting that “the parliament suffers from a crisis of breaking a quorum and not holding sessions.”
And the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance Mithaq Al-Hamidi confirmed in a previous statement that the Presidency of Parliament left the matter unknown about setting the date for the questioning of Finance Minister Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, pointing out that many questions were prepared in order to be put to the questioned minister.
