The Kurdish delegation reaches “good” results with the central government

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, Saturday, that the Kurdish government delegation that arrived in the capital Baghdad has reached good results with the central government .
“The meetings between the Kurdish delegation and the political and governmental leaderships in Baghdad are still continuing,” said the leader of the union, Ghayath Al-Surji, noting that “the visit reached good results in solving the problems of the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil with regard to the application of the borrowing law .”
He added that “some political parties took advantage of the demonstrations in the region for personal and political interests,” indicating that “there are hidden hands working to escalate the demonstrations in the region .”
Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi chaired a negotiation meeting with the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation to discuss the implementation of the provisions of the borrowing law .
