Economist Nabil Al-Marsoumi expected, on Wednesday, a decline in Iraqi oil revenues during the current month of December.
Al-Marsoumi said in a publication seen by “The Information” that “oil revenues in Iraq are expected to decline by more than a billion dollars.”
He explained that this was due to “the decline in global oil prices, as Brent crude fell to $72 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude fell to $68 per barrel.”
It is noteworthy that experts and specialists stress the necessity of adopting sustainable economic strategies that achieve sustainable development and protect the national economy from the negative effects of fluctuations in the global oil market.
