Earth News / The Finance Committee held, today, Tuesday, a meeting on the proposal of the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, after reading a first reading in the House of Representatives, while it decided to host the Minister of Finance in this regard.

According to the statement, the committee discussed “completion of the discussions of the law proposal after the first reading in the parliament and assuming its legal and humanitarian responsibility in alleviating the burdens and suffering of citizens, in terms of the ration card, social protection, paying the dues of farmers and farmers for previous years, establishing the Small Enterprises Fund, purchasing energy and others, because of The rise in world prices and the electricity crisis, in preparation for referring it to the second reading.”
He added that “the interventions of the committee members included a study that included the development of a strategic plan for the maturation of the law to ensure access to the optimal legislative steps, as the committee decided to address the government and ask for its opinion on the committee’s procedures to start legislating the proposed law.”
The statement continued, “The Finance Committee reviewed its report prepared for the second reading during the next session of the House of Representatives on the law and the reform vision to maximize resources and diversify sources of income, stressing its determination to follow up plans and implement financial policies in a manner that guarantees the rights of citizens.”
