US Vice President Mike Pence will visit Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region, on Saturday (November 23, 2019).
The source told (Baghdad today), “The US Vice President arrived by military aircraft from the eye of Assad to the airport in Erbil, and met with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan region, and delighted Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Regional Government hours before now.”
He pointed out that “the US official discussed with the leaders of the region issues pertaining to the Kurdish position of the current government, and the status of demonstrations, and the issue of early elections, and the status of the Kurds in the next phase in the event of a change in the current government.”
