(Baghdad: Al Furat News) On Saturday, the Sadikoun parliamentary bloc criticized the lack of a quorum for the questioning session of the Central Bank governor.
“The lack of a quorum for the questioning session of the central bank governor clearly showed that most of the absentees were absent without an excuse, in the interests of the people and their basic issues,” said the bloc’s spokesman, Mahmoud al-Rubaie, in a tweet.
He stressed that “the Sadikoun bloc recorded the presence of 13 deputies, and that it recorded the absence of 3 of its representatives for health and emergency reasons.”
The questioning session of the Central Bank Governor was postponed last week, due to the lack of a quorum for it.
