The Parliamentary Energy Committee confirmed, Saturday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi violated the law by agreeing to sell an electrical station to the Kurdish company Kar.
Committee member Jamal al-Muhammadawi said in a press statement that “the electrical station that was sold to the Kurdish company Kar is one of the best stations and from a German origin,” noting that “Parliament must have a position on the comprehensive privatization of electricity and the sale of stations.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi violated the law by agreeing to sell an electrical station to the Kurdish Kar company,” noting that “the Kurdish Kar company previously recorded a large number of suspicions of corruption on it.”
Today, Saturday, a member of the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region, about the movement of the new generation, Diyari Anwar, confirmed that the Car Company is one of the most corrupt companies that worked in the oil sector in the region.
