The Ministry of Planning announced, on Sunday, that there are more than 6 thousand projects under implementation, confirming that the budget for next year 2021 does not include any new projects, but will focus on the completion of ongoing projects, while indicating that 400 billion dinars have been allocated for the completion of the port FAO’s Large 2021 Budget.
“The ministry owns more than 6 thousand projects under implementation in all governorates of the country, as the completion rates of these projects range from advanced to medium ratios, and some of them were referred, but work has not started,” said the ministry’s spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi.
He added, “The 2021 budget did not include the inclusion of any new projects, as the search will only be for developing solutions and treatments for projects that are under implementation, with the aim of continuing work on them, and the achievement of which have advanced completion rates.”
He pointed out that “the focus will be on the implementation of service projects, which represent support for the economy by providing job opportunities for young people, as well as supporting development.”
He stressed that “the ministry focuses on strategic projects, as the 2021 budget included the inclusion of the large FAO project, for which 400 billion dinars were allocated, as well as the inclusion of the suspended train project in Baghdad, which is important for services and development, in addition to other projects according to the priorities identified in this framework.” “.
