The Ministry of Planning for the high inflation index during the month of December last first – rate [0.2%] after it was [0.7%] in the month of November 2016 , “pointing to” the low annual inflation over the past month by 0.7% compared with the month December 2015 “.
He explained the official spokesman for the Ministry of Planning Abdul – Zahra al – Hindawi said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that “inflation is the base index rose at a rate of [0.5%] from the previous month and increased by 1%] for the month of December 2015, in contrast record number General consumer price index [CPI] for the month of December 2016 in Iraq [103.8%] higher [0.2%] for the month of November 2016 “.
He attributed the “cause of this rise to a high standard figures for the housing department at [1.9%], the Department of Education by [19.6%], Department of Recreation and Culture at [0.7%], while annual inflation fell during the month of December 2016 at a rate of [0.7%] for the month December 2015 because of record for the Department of food and non – alcoholic beverages. ”
Hindawi pointed to ” the monthly change of December 2016 compared to November 2016 a month, due to the lower section of food and non – alcoholic beverages and record of [2.0%] to contribute by [-555.3% in the monthly rate of change.”
He said the “changes come as a result of low fruit set by [7.7%] for the previous month due to lower my sleep acid / importer prices by [17.8%], oranges imported prices by [14.5%], and low vegetable group rate [5.3%] from the previous month due to lower tomato prices by [23.8%] with a low rate of Fish group [11.1%] for the previous month due to lower prices of fresh fish Karp attributes / local rate [14.2%]. ”

“As communications department recorded a decrease of [0.1%] to contribute by [2.9-%] in the rate of monthly change , and recreation and culture department recorded an increase of [0.7%] to contribute by [11.7%] in the monthly rate of change, and scored the Department of Education a rise of [19.6%] to contribute by [180.6%] in the monthly rate of change, and scored restaurants division recorded a decline of [0.2%] to contribute by [2.9-% in the monthly rate of change, as well as the Department of miscellaneous goods and services registered a decline of [0.7%] to contribute by [30.1-% in the monthly rate of change. ”
Hindawi pointed out that ” the annual change in inflation for the month of December last indicators due to decrease in food and non – alcoholic beverages and of [7.1%] to contribute by [2.277%] at the annual rate of change.”
He explained the spokesman Basnm the Ministry of Planning, said : “This result changes come to drop the bread and cereal group at [2.2%], and low meat group at [4.7%], with low fish set by [17.7%], as well as lower oils and fats by [0.8% ], as well as low fruit set by [8.8%]. ”
He also “due to a decline in vegetable group by [20.5%], with low sugar and sugar products group at [1.7%], as well as due to higher milk group, cheese and eggs by [1.7%], with a high range of other food products increased by [1.1%], The rise in non – alcoholic beverages group increased by [0.4%]. ”
He noted Hindawi that ” the tobacco division recorded an increase of [8.3%] to contribute by [7.3-%] in the annual rate of change, and scored clothing and footwear division rise of [0.9%] to contribute by [7.4-%] in the annual rate of change due to high prices clothing set at [1.0%] and a group footwear by [0.3%]. ”
And he went on, “As the record housing department rise of [3.5%] to contribute by [125.1-%] in the annual rate of change due to the high rent collection rates by [4.7%], a group Maintenance and Services housing by [0.1%] and a water supply rate [7.7% department equipment , household equipment and maintenance .osgel decrease of [1.2%] to contribute by [9.9%] in the annual rate of change because of the low rate of home appliances group [2.9%]. ”
“As the health department increased the amount of [1.1%] to contribute by [6.9-%] in the annual rate of change .binma CTO increased to US $ [0.1%] to contribute by [2.0-%] in the annual rate of change .osgel communications department increased of [1.8%] to contribute by [7.9-%] in the annual rate of change, and also due to the recording of recreation and culture department decrease of [7.6%] to contribute by [18.5%] in the annual rate of change. ”
He said the “Department of Education recorded a rise of [24.1%] to contribute by [29.0-%] in the annual rate of change in the Department of restaurants increased to US $ [3.1%] to contribute by [6.3-%] in the annual rate of change, as well as the Department of goods and services record miscellaneous rise of [2.4%] to contribute by [13.8-%] in the annual rate of change. ”
He stressed that ” the price survey for the month of December the past did not include the governorates of Anbar, Nineveh and Salahuddin did not have counted record numbers because of the prevailing situation.”
