Parliamentary Planning - Finance Ministers Reforms Nonsense and DreamsToday, Friday, the deputy head of the Parliamentary Planning Committee, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, asked why the paragraphs of the White Paper were not included in the budget, indicating that the reform measures called by the Minister of Finance do not go beyond nonsense and dreams.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to “Tigris”, that “the Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, imagines that he is in London or Switzerland and proceeded to draw nonsense within the white paper that was not included in the budget originally.”
He added, “The minister spoke about harsh government austerity measures and measures against the three presidencies, but what we found was the disbursement of huge sums and fictional expenses.”
Al-Baldawi pointed out that “the minister and the government do not know the extent of the profits or the money that will be reaped after spending 164 trillion dinars during the budget, which is an economic disaster that cannot be passed on at all.”
