A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Mudar Al-Karawi, announced, on Saturday, that 70% of the 2023 budget report has been completed, suggesting that it be put forward for a second reading this week.

He pointed out that “the 2023 budget is very important, but it cannot be passed without resolving important points, including reducing the deficit,” noting that “reconsidering the oil price is very possible in light of the changes in the energy market.”
