The Parliamentary Finance Committee held its 30th meeting, on Sunday, to discuss the draft federal budget bill for the year 2021.
The Media Department of Parliament said in a statement, “The Finance Committee hosted the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahab Al-Saadi, to discuss the financial system’s allocations within the current budget law.
She added, “The sub-committee formed by the Finance Committee will later host the Director of the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), and a delegation from the Central Bank within the discussions of the 2021 budget.”
It is noteworthy that a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Sherwan Mirza, had announced, this morning, Sunday, that next week will witness the vote on the draft budget law after completing all the observations and making amendments.
