(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Kurdish MP in the Future Parliamentary Bloc, Sarkut Shamsuddin, called on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to “strike with an iron fist and hold the corrupt persons accountable in the provincial government, similar to the steps that can be taken to hold accountable those involved in corruption among former members of the federal government.”
Shams al-Din said in a statement that the Al-Furat News Agency received a copy of it, “While we encourage the disbursement of the salaries of the region’s employees as soon as possible, we do not want him to remain silent about the region’s government’s excesses in smuggling oil and making use of the funds to enhance the balances of members of the two main parties in Outside, the citizens are suffering both. ”
Shams al-Din confirmed, “Al-Kazemi can obtain the support of citizens in the region if the file of employees’ salaries is resolved, and separating it from putting an end to the corrupt persons in the government there.”
