The Ministry of Communications confirmed today, Sunday, that the optical cable is the best solution to control smuggling of Internet capacity, indicating that its accreditation will provide 6 hours of free service to citizens.
Ministry spokesman Raad Al-Mashhadani said, according to the official news agency, that “the ministry has started campaigns to extend the optical cable, and in the event of the completion of the project, the need for the cellular device will cease to exist,” indicating that “the project will provide 6 hours of free internet, at the expense of the Ministry of Communications.”
Al-Mashhadani added that, “when he arrives at home, the subscription will cover the first and second floors, without interruptions and continuous internet, relying on the optical cable rite,” while stressing that “the most appropriate solution to control cases of capacity smuggling is the return of the optical cable,” explaining that “these The network will work in all governorates except the Kurdistan region. As for the capital, Baghdad, it is divided between two divisions, Karkh and Rusafa, each of which is responsible for a different company with government-subsidized prices.
Earlier, the Minister of Communications, Arkan Shihab, directed the Ministry’s cadres to complete the extension of the optical cable in the various governorates of the country.
