Shafaq News/ The Israeli Ministry of Education announced today, Monday, that it is removing climate activist Greta Thunberg from the school curriculum after she published a photo in which she showed solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Last weekend, Greta Thunberg, also known as the “Climate Kid,” posted on X (formerly Twitter) a photo of herself with friends, holding a sign that read, “Stand with Gaza,” and called for an immediate ceasefire.
Greta Thunberg wrote: “Today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world needs to speak out and call for an immediate ceasefire and justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians,” according to the Euro News website.
Commenting on this, the Israeli Ministry of Education said, “Hamas is a terrorist organization responsible for the killing of 1,400 innocent Israelis, including children, women, and the elderly, and kidnapped more than 200 people to Gaza.
