The International Police (INTERPOL) has announced that it will not consider the Iranian request to pursue US President Donald Trump and 35 other people whom Tehran considers responsible for the assassination of the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.

Earlier, the Fars news agency quoted Tehran’s chief prosecutor, Ali al-Qassi Mehr, as saying on Monday that Iran had issued an arrest warrant for US President Donald Trump and 35 others in connection with the killing of a prominent military commander, Qasim Soleimani, and had requested the assistance of the International Police (INTERPOL).

On January 3, a US strike with a drone in Iraq killed Soleimani, commander of the Qods Force, in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
