The representative of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Salem Al-Anbuge, revealed, on Monday, the date for the start of implementing the budget, indicating that the government will start investigating its items as soon as they are published in the Official Gazette.
Al-Anbuge said in a televised interview, followed by Al-Maalouma, that “approving a budget for three years is a positive thing that is happening for the first time in Iraq, which contributes to political and economic stability.”
He added, “The budget law will enter into force within two months after its approval, and that the approval of the budget resulted in a national will in the House of Representatives.”
Al-Anbuge ruled out “the government challenging the amendments made by the Parliamentary Finance Committee to some of the provisions of the law.”
