Demanding the Sudanese to clarify the truth about the American withdrawal

Today, Monday, the spokesman for the popular legal movement, Muhammad Al-Sahhaf, called on the government to be frank with the Iraqi people regarding its discussions about the American withdrawal from Iraq.
Al-Sahaf told Al-Maalouma, “The Sudanese government is required to disclose its agreements with Washington regarding the American withdrawal from Iraq, stressing that the continued American presence is a clear violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.”
He added, “The previous House of Representatives voted to remove all foreign forces, led by America, from Iraq, indicating that all data and indicators confirm that America will not withdraw from Iraq.”
In the first month of 2020, Parliament voted on a resolution obligating the government to work to end the presence of any foreign forces on Iraqi soil. This came during an extraordinary session.
The session came at the request of the caretaker government and political blocs, but other blocs announced their boycott.
