{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The engineering and technical teams in the Anbar Communication Directorate managed to connect Iraq with the Saudi side via optical cable to improve the quality of the Internet.
A statement to inform the Office of the Minister of Communications received the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it today, “In implementation of the directives issued by the General Company for Communications managed engineering and technical teams in the Directorate of Anbar communications to complete the process of connecting the optical cable through the station Taras Arar at the border crossing with the Saudi side.
“After the completion of the works of art, the examination was done by the two sides, where the laser signal from Saudi Arabia arrived well.”
The statement pointed out that “this achievement was to compensate for the lack of Internet capacity until the repair of the sudden pieces of cable GBA sea in the Gulf, which occurred between Qatar and Bahrain and the interruption of the weakness of Internet service in Iraq.”
He pointed out that “the Ministry of Communications continues to follow up the issue of cable reform with the competent authorities and also worked to provide alternatives in order to provide the best and best Internet services for the Iraqi citizen.”
