A leaked secret message revealed that the former leader of “Al-Qaeda”, Osama bin Laden, planned to kill former US President Barack Obama in 2010, and asked not to kill his deputy, at the time, Joe Biden .
The document published by the newspaper “Republic World” indicated that Osama bin Laden demanded that Biden not be assassinated .
The secret message showed that bin Laden attributed his decision to the fact that Biden would become an incompetent president of the United States, which would benefit the terrorist groups, led by “Al-Qaeda” and the “Taliban “.
According to the newspaper, Bin Laden wanted Biden to lead America to more crises, which would be a breakthrough for these organizations, he said .
The secret document said: “Bin Laden specified his desire to form two assassination squads, one in Pakistan and the other in Afghanistan, whose task would be to plan attacks against then-US President Barack Obama and former CIA Director David Petraeus, if they visited either country .”
Although the secret document was published in 2012, the newspaper republished it, to shed light on it and give it new importance amid the chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan that returned the country to the Taliban .
It is noteworthy that on August 15, the Taliban managed to take control of the Afghan capital, Kabul, without much resistance, less than two weeks after the start of clashes between government forces and the movement’s militants, while Panjshir province, in the north-east of the country, remained the only province outside its control .
The Taliban’s control of most of the country came to culminate in military operations against government forces that lasted for weeks, coinciding with the process of withdrawal of foreign forces led by the United States, which is scheduled to be completed on the 11th of next month, and after President Ashraf Ghani’s departure from the country, “Our blood is right.”
