Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stressed, on Tuesday, that the people had failed the corrupt, pointing out that we had put in place the first plan for economic reform in the history of Iraq.
Al-Kazemi said in a speech during the cabinet session, that “the government, despite the heavy legacy and great challenges, has taken important steps on the path of reform, and saved the country financially and economically, and is trying hard, with plans and strategies that have been prepared, to put the country on the right path.”
He explained: After we have closed the first year of the government’s life, which was granted by Parliament, we affirm that Iraq is capable of playing its civilized role in this world, as it is the Iraq of civilization, writing, law and science.
He stressed that “the annual government performance report, which was launched recently, included information and readings in all transparency, accuracy and clarity, and it includes the government’s achievements during a whole year.”
He went on to say: The government performance report lists in all transparency and impartiality what the government has accomplished from May 2020 to May 2021, as well as everything that is in the process of being accomplished.
And between: Our people have suffered a lot and have been let down by the corrupt, the slogan dealers and the unscrupulous, and today we put before you in full transparency what we have accomplished and what we have not yet accomplished, and what we are on the way to accomplish, in service to Iraq and the Iraqis who deserve the best.
