Al-Kazemi government needs 87 trillion dinars in the 2021 budget

The Parliamentary Finance Committee accused the government of concealing the details of the 2021 budget and not disclosing its details, indicating that the government does not need more than 87 trillion dinars .
A member of the Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, said that “according to the exchange data 1/12 of 2020, the amount of government spending is estimated at 52 trillion dinars .”
He added that “the exchange data will make Parliament in front of the health data for the government’s need in 2021 when voting on the budget,” noting that “the inclusion of financing large projects, including the Faw port in the 2021 budget, means the government’s need for 100 trillion dinars .”
Cougar explained that “in the event that these projects are not included, the budget should not exceed 87 trillion dinars for the year 2021, pointing out that” what is hindering work now is the delay in sending it by the government and its secrecy and the lack of disclosure of the budget details. ”
