Al-Kazemi decides to form an investigative committee dealing with major corruption casesOn Sunday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi decided to form an investigative committee to deal with major corruption cases and exceptional crimes.

In a speech on the occasion of Ashura, which was followed by Ibn News, Al-Kazemi said, “We must benefit from the lessons of Imam Hussein,” indicating that “the Iraqis have turned the lessons of history into a material produced by society.”

He referred to “ending the first phase of fact-finding that accompanied the violations against the October demonstrators,” stressing, “starting to count the wounded and victims of the demonstrations to obtain their dues.”

Al-Kazemi explained, “We will not hesitate to apply the law against aggressors on public and private property,” stressing, “We will face attacks on the security services and medical staff with the strictest legal measures.”

He continued, “We will not allow anyone or a party to drag us into a non-state,” explaining that “early elections are our firm commitment to the Iraqi people.”
