The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hassan Salem, warned, on Sunday, of the malicious roles played by the Ambassador of the United States of America, Elena Romansky, in Iraq, accusing her of playing suspicious roles targeting the unity of the Iraqi people.
Salem said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, “America is still seeking to consolidate the scope of the chaos that it established in Iraq.”
He added, “A major American plot is being hatched against Iraq, beyond all perceptions, and Washington’s ambassador is considered the executive tool to pass those American schemes.”
He pointed out that “Elena Romansky plays suspicious roles with the aim of destabilizing security and stability in Iraq,” warning of “the malicious roles played by the Washington embassy.”
In a statement to Al-Maalouma, the head of the Iraqi Scholars Association, Sheikh Khaled Al-Mulla, accused the United States of orchestrating the plot to burn the Holy Qur’an, pointing out that burning the Holy Qur’an is a grave insult to Islam that cannot be tolerated.
