Iraqi politician Mithal Al-Alusi proposed to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to grant a percentage of the stolen money to every secret informant who reports evidence of the crimes of embezzlement and theft of Iraqi officials.
Al-Alusi said in a tweet on “Twitter”, “Let us set fire under the feet of the green thieves, the state of Al-Kazemi to activate the fight against corruption and thieves. I received a proposal from an honorable citizen, equivalent to 5% to 10% of Iraq’s stolen money for every Iraqi or non-Iraqi secret informant reporting evidence of Crimes of embezzlement and theft of Iraqi officials’ public funds.
Al-Kazemi’s campaign continues with the arrest of those accused of wasting public money and embezzlement crimes, as it has toppled six corruption heads so far.
