Abadi calls for the resignation of the government and the formation of a new independent government

The head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, on Thursday, called for the resignation of the current government and the formation of a new independent government, while calling for holding all officials responsible for the bloodshed.
“We strongly condemn the bloodshed of innocent people in Dhi Qar and all governorates of Iraq and call for the accountability of those responsible,” Abbadi said in a statement received .
Al-Abadi called for “holding the perpetrators accountable, resigning the government and forming a new independent government, leading a transitional stage for early free elections under an equitable law and an independent commission in partnership with the United Nations.”
