Shafaq News / The Central Bank of Iraq sales of hard currency rose slightly, on Sunday, with the opening of its sessions this week.
The Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank of Iraq witnessed a slight increase in its sales today, during its auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies, which did not exceed 112 thousand dollars to reach 3 million and 337 thousand dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to last Thursday As sales reached 3 million and 225 thousand dollars.
He added that the sales all went to boost the assets abroad in the form of transfers and credits, while the dollar was not purchased in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 4 banks have fulfilled the requests to enhance the assets abroad.
