A protest was launched, Tuesday, in front of the headquarters of the Central Bank of Iraq in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to protest against the increase in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar.
A source said, “Dozens of earning citizens, merchants and businessmen organized a protest stand in front of the headquarters of the Central Bank of Iraq, in protest against the increase in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar.”
He added, “The protesters called for a reversal of the decision and for alternative financial solutions to be affected by earning profits, traders, business interruption and market confusion.”
