The leader of the State of Law coalition, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar Al-Bayati, said today, Wednesday, that the next two months will witness the readiness of the consensual government, which includes all political and component forces, noting that there is a clear openness on the other side and opinions that differ from those raised in the early stages.
Al-Bayati said in an interview with Alsumaria News, “Difference in opinions and societal influence is a reality that has become global and not only on the local reality as a result of the presence of social networking sites and the ease of transmission of opinions, information and dialogue,” noting that “any external interference in the formation of the government and the administration of the Iraqi state is unacceptable.” It cannot be accepted, especially in strategic issues and the relationship with other countries, especially since we have seen in the recent period interventions of a kind that are inconsistent with the Iraqi reality and attempts to drag Iraq into a state of tension.”
Al-Bayati added, “The situation after the failure of the stage of excluding a party within the parliament, and everyone’s conviction of the importance of dialogue and consensus, has changed dramatically, as there are opinions of all parties to the tripartite alliance that differ from those opinions that were presented in the early stages,” noting that “there is an openness to Within the Sunni component, modernity within the Kurdish component, another openness within the Shiite component, and the challenge of the Sadrist movement, which makes the atmosphere heading towards a solution.
He continued, “Despite the existence of an optimistic atmosphere, but we believe that the matter and solving the problems will not be so fast, as it needs a period of time to resolve the government,” adding that “the next two months will witness the readiness of the consensual government in which all components will participate without excluding any Kurdish, Sunni or other party.” Shiites, in addition to the role of Turkmen, Christians, Shabak and Yazidis, and there will be clear solutions to all obstacles and complexities.”
