Independent MP Muhannad Al-Khazraji revealed today, Thursday, that there is movement from various political blocs to end the crisis of the presidency of the House of Representatives.
Al-Khazraji told Al-Maalouma, “There is a vigorous move from various parties to resolve the matter of the presidency of the House of Representatives, expecting it to be resolved next week.”
He criticized “the scenario of violence and creating crises within the House of Representatives,” indicating that “the balance is tilted toward choosing Salem Al-Issawi as Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
He pointed to “converging agreements and visions from various blocs to support Al-Issawi.”
