{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The deputy of the Al-Fateh Haneen Qaddo coalition confirmed, on Saturday, that negotiations continue to ensure the participation of Kurdish blocs and the coalition of forces in voting to grant confidence to the Allawi government.
Qaddo told {Euphrates News} that “discussions are still underway in order to get to know the components of the Iraqi people and invite the brothers in the Kurdistan region and the coalition of forces to participate in the government, but only on the condition that a set of names be presented and selected by the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.”
He added that “the postponement of the Saturday session to Sunday is a clear indication that there are some negotiations underway in order to obtain the support of all national powers and political parties to support and vote positively on the cabinet, which we hope will be presented tomorrow, Sunday.”
“We are the supporters of this booth for the sake of Iraq, not for the sake of a certain personality, or for the sake of narrow partisan interests, and we want to continue and move forward in order to save the country facing many challenges,” Qadoo added, noting that “last Thursday we were with the session postponed until Saturday to give More time for negotiations with the Kurds and the Alliance of Forces in order to participate in the government. “Ended
