Deputy: the 2021 budget deficit reaches 40%

Member of Parliament, Hassan Khlati, confirmed, on Thursday, that the deficit of the federal budget bill for 2021 reaches 40% .
Khatti said that “the expected deficit in the 2021 budget will reach 40%,” noting that “global oil prices are directly related to the Corona virus vaccine.”
He added that “the House of Representatives needs two months to approve the budget and delay it is unfortunate,” noting that “the House of Representatives was forced to vote on a law to borrow because of not sending the budget.”
The Parliamentary Integrity Committee expected, today, Thursday, to delay the approval of the draft federal budget law for 2021 in the House of Representatives.
The Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee confirmed, yesterday, Wednesday, that the approval of the draft federal budget law for 2021 within the House of Representatives will need two months.
