{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee revealed that the political blocs had agreed to host Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi upon his return from Washington.
Badr Al-Ziyadi told Al-Furat News that “the political blocs met to host Al-Kazemi upon his return from Washington, in order to understand the mechanism for the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq and to know the details of the decision,” noting that “US forces are deployed in multiple neighboring countries.”
And that “the hosting will also include recognition of the agreements that were signed by the delegation,” noting that “all the information that the parliament now has is what appears in the media.”
He stressed, “The ministers of oil, electricity and foreign affairs will be hosted in order to talk about the merits of the visit in front of the people,” noting that “the evaluation of the visit will be after hosting the government delegation in Parliament.”
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who is concluding his visit to Washington today and has continued since last Tuesday, announced today from there “an agreement with the American side to redeploy forces outside Iraq, and to set up a technical team to find a mechanism for this deployment.”
