And pointed Aldhlki that “resignation came against the backdrop of recent events and the failure to meet the demands of the demonstrators.” He added that “Iraqi leaders have asked Mutlaq wait for the resignation during the meeting considered the question of the resignation of the existing ministers from the government after they made two days before the editor to the leaders of the list.”

The country has seen successive political crises evolved after he moved to the masses and out demonstrations and sit-ins since last month in the provinces of Anbar, Salahuddin and Nineveh, demanding the release of prisoners and the abolition of legal accountability, justice and the fight against terrorism as well as other demands.
