Iraq and World Bank sign a loan for the rehabilitation of highway traffic vital Agreement

Follow-up – and babysit – Iraq has signed the World Bank loan agreement for the rehabilitation of highway traffic dynamically connects several provinces Mquh countries.
The Minister of Construction and Housing Tariq Kikhany in a statement that “the ministry has signed a loan agreement between represented by the Ministry of Construction and Housing Iraqi government and the World Bank for the rehabilitation of Highway No. 1 / and the value of US $ 355 million.”
And Highway No. 1 in Iraq through the traffic is fast passage connecting the Gulf countries in the Levant through Baghdad.
The route starts from the city of Umm Qasr in Basra province and passes all of Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah and Hilla and Baghdad, Fallujah, Ramadi and wetlands where is divided into two sections go newborn northern port leading to Syria and south goes Trebil leading to Jordan.
The length of the road about 1,200 km and work began in 1986 and was completed in 1990.
